We serve the Portlethen community taking in Findon & Old Portlethen.  We are an integral part of and enjoy the reciprocal support of the local community.  Our local business partners, Baker Hughes GE, work with us to facilitate development of the pupils’ skills for learning, life and work.

A nurturing school which has achieved Level 2 Rights Respecting School Award and the Fair Achievers award. We were designated an Enhanced Provision school in August 2017 and are currently working toward our Silver LGBT Schools Charter Award in order to further promote inclusion and equality. We are proud and privileged to meet the wide range of needs of our fantastic pupils.

Our pupils and staff celebrate the school values of Trust, Teamwork, Respect, Achievement, Inclusion and Nurture. We describe these as: T-TRAIN. 

The Portlethen Primary Together (PPT) contribute greatly to achieving the school improvement priorities and raise much appreciated funds for the luxuries enjoyed by the pupils.
